For a longer trip we rented a wagon to put the kids in for free. I would go there again, especially as a family. The place is in real need for a refurbishment, everything is old. No means of getting air into the room without undesired insects coming in as well. The place is stinking hot everyday, all day and no relief.
I will refer my complaint to the Obudsman and to Consumer Direct. I have been waiting for 4 months or more and you have not got back to me with the legal cover phone number. I visited it in winter so I can't say what is a service quality. But it seems to have everything one can need to relax on the beach or enjoy water sports. There is a bicycle path around the whole lake and marked hiking trail. Although the lake is intensively commercially used you can find there a beautiful nature and even a natural reservation.
AXA said the insurance does not cover the repairs and I need to pay £182 on top. When I asked how much I have left to spend they said £98 of the £250. So after managing the extra £182 I called back and said yes please go ahead with the job. Damand called took a payment of £185 and said the engineer will call before they arrive. So next day they arrive and detach the boiler off the wall they replace the expansion vessel and start saying that gasses are leaking.

I broke my glasses whilst emptying buckets/pans of water coming from the burst radiator I stumbled back nocked my glasses off my bed and and accidentally trod on them. I was told that because they weren’t damaged by the water from the radiator I would have to make a separate claim and pay another excess. Clearly I should not have tried to stop more water damage happening and just left the radiator water to flow for the 6 plus hours it took the incompetent emergency engineer to arrive. I could go on an on about this claim and how badly it is/has been handled but I won’t. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE do NOT TAKE OUT TESCOS BANK/AXA HOME INSURANCE OR ITS EMERGENCY SERVICE THEY ARE APPALLING. I should give zero stars for everything. Over a month to attended and deal with an unsafe urgent claim. Again my wife has called you four times today. She works in a busy hospital and does not have the time to waste chasing this useless company. And again today another promised call did not happen.
